CrickTop is a mobile social video app focused on cricket content. This Privacy Policy explains what information CrickTop may collect, how it is used, and how users can contact us.
Information we collect
CrickTop may collect and process the following types of information:
- Account information such as email address, user ID, username, profile name, avatar and bio.
- Authentication information from email login, Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple.
- User-generated content such as uploaded videos, thumbnails, captions, comments and profile content.
- App activity such as likes, saved posts, follows, reports, blocks and moderation actions.
- Technical data needed to operate the app, including upload status, playback URLs and error states.
Camera, microphone and photo library
CrickTop may request camera, microphone and photo library access so users can record videos, include audio and select media for posts. These permissions are used only for app functionality.
How we use information
- To create and manage user accounts.
- To allow users to upload, process and watch cricket videos.
- To enable likes, comments, follows, saved posts, reports and blocking.
- To support safety, moderation, abuse prevention and account deactivation.
- To maintain app reliability, session persistence and playback functionality.
Third-party services
CrickTop uses Supabase for authentication, database, storage and backend functions. CrickTop uses Mux for video upload processing, optimization and playback delivery. Google and Apple may be used for authentication when users choose those login providers.
User-generated content and moderation
Users are responsible for the content they publish. CrickTop may review, hide, remove or restrict content or accounts that violate platform rules, store requirements or applicable law.
Data sharing
CrickTop does not sell user personal information. Data may be processed by service providers only as needed to operate the app.
Account deactivation and deletion
Users can deactivate their account from the app settings. Users may also request account deletion by following the instructions on the Account Deletion page.
